I am learning some new words. I hear this one word a lot, "No". I am pretty sure I know what it means, as it does stop me in my tracks... but my curiousity is so strong and memory so short!
I also am starting to understand that I can say "Mama" to my mommy and she responds with the biggest smile and picks me up! I am not super good at this yet... but starting. I also say "Dada" to my Daddy... but lots of other sounds come out too... no one is really sure if I mean to say these things or not. It's tricky, learning a new language!
My favorite thing to say is "Ba"! I really like to say it, and sometimes will say it over and over again or just once. It is my catch-all term for most things.
My favorite sound though is clicking my tongue! It is so fun and I can make Mommy and Daddy and even strangers do it now! I have so much power over all these people! I just click my tongue once or twice and I instantly have their attention!
Ok, I have to admit, I really like yelling too! Mommy keeps telling me to be quiet and that that is my "outside voice". I don't know what she is talking about! Yelling inside is so much better, better acoustics for sure. She just doesn't understand!
By the way, I tried a Barley biscuit the other day, and OMG, they are so good. Also, I tried some pasta tonight... that stuff is sticky! Oh, and I started eating watermelon, yummy! Mommy will cut up little pieces of pear, melon, peach, banana and/or avacado for snacks... I get to feed myself and make a big mess! Mommy has finally figured out that I need double layered bibs during wet snacks like this! I love cheerios though, and those Gerber crunchy stars! So good. I like to get a big handful and try to stuff them all in my mouth... I end up losing most of them though! Darn fine motor coordination still not quite working for me. I am getting better though. I am excited for my new snacks! Mommy got yogurt covered crunchy things today and Leila says they are really good! Yay food, so much better than formula!

Wow! You are making strides. I'm so happy that you are starting to talk now!! You've had typing down pat for quite some time. I simply cannot wait until you come visit with mom & dad and hear all your new sounds you've learned.
PS. Don't tell mommy, but indoor yelling is WAAAAAY better. You're right. :)
