11 months old

I am 11 months old today! Holy smokes!

This month was fantastic!

Right after I turned 10 months old, I started to have separation anxiety, big time when Mommy left me. It started when still in NH, just at the end of our vacation. But once I got home, it wasn't so bad, and now I am just fine... still like to be near Mommy most though.

I also figured out how to point with my right hand soon after I turned 10 months old! Now I point to everything all the time with either hand and Mommy tells me what it is.

I went to Canobie Lake Park and went on my first real rides! The ferris wheel was my first ride I ever went on, and the little kiddie carousel was the first ride I ever went on solo (I sat in the sleigh). I also went in the Haunted Mine, and on a boat ride with Arianna and Mikaela, the bouncy cars with Mommy, the antique cars with Mommy, and on the scary Harbor Patrol ride... and the big carousel while Mommy held me on the horsey!

I went on a hike to Pulpit Rock with Mommy and Grandma in Bedford, NH.

I also met my birthday buddy, Steph and lots of my mommy's friends from high school and college.

I flew back across the country from New Hampshire after a fabulous trip to meet my Mommys' side of the family.

I went to Jenks Lake and Lake Arrohead with Mommy.

I hosted a playdate and went to Jake's for a playdate.

I went camping Mommy, Daddy and Isaac in Idywild at Boulder Basin Cmpaground and we went on a short hike tot he fire tower.

I hung out with Seth and Karen a few times!

I started playing with drum sticks and my Mommy's guitar, I can strum really well!

I can jump on the little trampoline at My Gym while holding onto the bar.

I got my picture taken with my mommy, grandmommy, great grandmother AND great great grandmother, and I met my great great great aunt!

I met Liz and Ella.

I started clmbing up on things like toys and the bookshelf.

I went to Palm Springs to see Yia Yia and Papa and went swimming and kinda "jumped in" on 3.

In a matter of days I went from standing for 5 seconds on my own to standing for over 45 seconds while clapping!

I went to the doc and weighed in at 18 pounds.

I found out I have eczema, but it cleared up quickly.

I started throwing balls.

I started to have water play in my front yard and got a pool.

I started to take steps all on my own, my record is 8 so far!

Oh, I also can wave hi and bye, do patty cake (clapping my hands), rolling my arms (kinda), and "pick pick pick" with my finger, and all done (which kinda looks like Bye Bye!) and kinda more (which looks like pick pick pick and clapping).

I also mostly use my right hand for things.

I can undestand some commands like "stand up", "123" and "come here".

I started at a new day care, and Janiel says I am an "angel" and a "good eater" and "so much fun!" She seems to be quite fond of me! :)

I sleep about 10 hours a night and take 1-2 naps a day. I have 3 bottles and 3 meals a day, and 2 snacks. I eat yogurt, cheese, beans, mango, toast, waffles and all sorts of other things... I like the stuff I can feed myself the best. I can drink from a straw and will sip from a cup with my Mommy's help.
