#273!
Leila and her medal.
Today was another eventful day! I had four friends over, Sophia, Leila, Trent and Jacob, to make presents for our moms and dads. We pressed out feet and hands in clay! Honestly, I did Not enjoy it, but I guess it is worth it for Mommy. :) Yvette took a video of the moment...
In my defense, I had Just woken up from a nap, but none of us babies really enjoyed this process. Well, after showing Leila and Sophia my swings, we went to our favorite park, Prospect Park, to show my friends the pretty views and fun trails. THEN, when Daddy came home we hung out together for a long time and played with my toys until I feel asleep. Taking a nap on daddy is so nice. I am glad he is not sick anymore so we can hang out! :)
Dr. Clark also weighed and measured me and I weigh 9 pounds, 13 ounces (26th percentile) and am 22 1/2 inches long (50th percentile) and my head size is 39 cm (45th percentile). Mommy was worried that I lost weight since Friday, but Dr. Clark wasn't, since scales can weigh differently... in fact, she said I am perfect! I already knew that, but it is nice to hear. :) Mommy asked a ton of questions and seemed satisfied that I really am fine, even though my poop can be watery and green sometimes and even though I tend to poop 8 times a day. Dr. Clark said some babies poop 14 times a day... while other babies may poop once every 14 days!
They also talked about my dry skin, looks like I will be getting a head scratch on occasion now to help with this cradle cap... olive oil, though, really?! We'll see.
Yesterday we went to Sophia's. I really liked her vibrating, rocking chair!!
Usually I get down to the diaper, but I wasn't feeling well tonight (I think I ate too much - 4 ounces from the bottle!). Mommy was worried because I spit up a lot this morning and tonight and then Daddy came home sick today... but I think I am okay. Mommy is going to get the H1N1 vaccine tomorrow though because she is a big worry-wart. Hopefully we can all stay healthy, as I hear flu season is here and the Swine Flu is verrrrry aggressive... it's a pandemic! Eeek. Don't forget to cough into your arm or a tissue and wash your hands often!
Mommy quarantined Daddy and she and I are sleeping in MY room tonight just to be safe until we have that vaccine! My first night in my crib actually... it is so spacious compared to the bassinett! And the mattress is much more comfortable. I think I like it! Plus we have the froggy humidifier keeping us company, he's neat!
