Today was my firtst day swimming and I am 20 weeks old. Silly Mommy was so concerned about getting me out of the pool and warmed up that she didn't get a picture though! We are invited to go back to the pool next weekend though! I love swimming! I am such a natural! I do the frog swim with my legs while Mommy holds me under my arms and pulls me around. And I splashed myself in the face a few times. Oh, it was so fun! We went with Sophia and Yvette in the heated pool! Fun fun fun!

Happy Birthday Grandmothers!!

Saturday was Yia Yia's birthday and today is Grandma's birthday!! And in the middle was Valentine's Day! Grandma is coming down from Seattle for a visit this Thursday...

And we went to San Diego this past weekend to see Yia Yia!

Silly Mommy at Target

So, I forgot to mention this, but earlier this week Mommy and I were shopping at Target. Mommy stopped in the middle of the cleaning supplies isle to make faces and funny noises at me. I thought it was pretty great and smiled back, but then my mommy stopped and turned bright red - someone she knew saw her and came over! He he he. She was embarrassed ! It was pretty funny.

18 weeks old

I am 18 weeks old today! Mommy and I ran 2 miles today, and then the rest is fuzzy... apparently we walked another 1.1 miles while I slept. :) Well, it wasn't an organized 5K, just our own route, but we did it! Mommy's face got sooo red though! I had lots of toys with me and would grab them, but really my fingers are still my favorite toy right now.

Tonight my mommy decided to see how strong I am getting. I think I surprised her that I can use my tummy muscles to pull my self upright from laying back just a little bit, I kinda go too far though and bend right in half. But I am getting pretty strong!

Wow! What has happened this last month? Well...
I can hold my bottle all by myself.

I am now 25" long, weigh 12 pounds 11 ounces, and my head is 42 cm round

I have gone for walks in the rain

I have been on a magic carpet ride

I went to San Diego to celebrate Uncle Jeff and Papa's birthdays

I climbed Ryan Mountain in Joshua Tree with Mommy and Sameer

I have gone for many walks at the park and played on my blanket under the tree

I have become a little ticklish

I got a new jumperoo and like to bounce around in it

I started going to bed at 9PM in my crib and sleep through the night (8-10 hours)

I hiked the Crown Prince Lookout trail with Mommy and Daddy in Joshua Tree and saw bunnies

I had my second cold

I celebrated my first new years at Sophia's

I celebrated my first Christmas in San Diego and saw the Pacific Ocean for the first time

And at 3 months I:

Started laughing

I have lost a ton of hair, but it seems to be slowly filling in

I met Mindy and Amy

Visited with Lili and JT at their home

Went to a cookie exchange with 4 of my friends

Started sleeping in my crib

Giggled

Discovered my fingers and love to suck on them

Went for a walk at Oakmont Park with Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma

I got my first cold

I sawe snow for the first time at Heaps Peak Arboretum in Running Springs and we made a snowman

I saw my first rainbow

I met Matt

And at 2 months I:

Celebrated my first Thanksgiving

Got my first tiny hint of a diaper rash

I noticed the mirror above my swing and like to stare at myself

I started to get a tiny bit ticklish at my shoulders, I think

Mommy started reading Dr. Suess to me and I loved it

I walked/ran my first 5K

We hosted a potluck with our new friends

I got my hands and feet impressioned

I started sitting in my Bumbo seat
I got good at following things with my eyes
I made my first real smiles at Mommy and Daddy

I took Yoga and Infant Massage classes
I went to Joshua Tree for the first time and went to Wall Street Mill, my fist National Park

I started going for rides in the Bjorn
I met JT and Lili
I celebrated my first Halloween with 3 costumes

I held onto my first toy
