I can sit up really well now!!

Rice Cereal

Yuck, I do not like bottles, I do not like formula, and turns out I do not like rice cereal either!

I went to the doc today and I now weigh 13 pounds, 5 ounces, which is actually not good. It is in the 3rd to 5th percentile! Eek. I so just wish Mommy could feed me all the time! Cause that's yummy, but all this other stuff I could do without! Yuck. It does seem like Mommy and Daddy are going to be relentless about this though. I may have to give in sooner or later. Bah.

But - I do like trying to grab everything now! It is fun to try to get things from my mommy, like the pen she is writing with or the boxes of food at the grocery store!

I am also rolling off the blankets all the time now. My mommy and daddy think it's funny when they put me down, turn around for a minute and then turn back to find me in another spot. The were reminiscing about the times they used to put my on the coffee table and I would just lay there completely still. Ha - no more of that! Oh how I can't wait to crawl like Asher. He is only a few weeks older than me, but he already figured out how to crawl! He is so cool.

My First Playdate

I had my friends over today for my first playdate ever. Adam, Asher, Megan and Trent all came over and we did tummy time together, played ball (kinda), watched bubbles pop on our faces, painted our feet and made footprints, and more! It was so much fun having all my friends over I didn't want to take a nap for 6 hours!

It looks and feels like I am teething! Maybe that is why I don't have much of an appetite. You can see my teeth through my gums! I wonder how long before they pop out! I hope it doesn't hurt. Mommy gave me this cold washcloth to help ease my suffering. :)

This was a great month!

I discovered my toes and can now put them in my mouth!

I can roll over (even though Mommy has never seen it) from front to back and back to front.

I learned how to raspberry my lips and tongue.

I am really good at reachinh and grabbing for things.

I started eating formula - but I don't really like it.

My tummy is getting stronger, I can pull myself forward and was able to sit up on my own for 5 seconds once.

I am starting to respond to my name, but not always.

I sucked on my fingers so much I got a booboo.

I celebrated my first Valentine's Day.

I went swimming for the first time.

I went to Joshua Tree for the 5th time!

I got terrible cold and still have the bad cough.

Day with daddy

I got to spend the day with Daddy today because everyone at my day care is super sick. I hope I don't get sicker!! Eeeek. Well, I thought I would show Daddy my new skills - rolling over. I am still hiding my skill from Mommy, but she tried to get it on video... I did try to look as cute as I could, but no rolling over. He he.

Grandma wanted sweet potato fries at the Eating Room, so here we are:

Yuck, this cold is terrible! I have the worst cough. :(

But Grandma got me a new outfit! She loves Nascar and especially #48, Jimmie Johnson! She and Mommy went to Qualifying on Friday and she came home with an outfit for me. Then Grandma and I watched the end of the race today together. Guess who won!! Double J!:

Also while Grandma was here she read to me every night. She liked to read the Dr. Suess books the best. She even had a Dr. Suess shirt she put on just for me!

Joshua Tree trip #5, this time with Grandma! and 21 weeks old

Mommy and Daddy took Grandma and me to Joshua Tree. We went to the Hidden Valley Trail, Desert Queen Mine, Skull Rock and Keys Point! Fun fun fun! Mommy forgot my sun hat, so I wore Daddy's!

Plus I had an extra hat on underneath - it was cold and windy!
We hung out in the car for a little bit when at the verrrrry cold Keys Point.

And I got to stretch out my legs! Here I am playing Up and Down:
