Fish Creek Hike!!

Mommy, Daddy and I went on a 4-5 mile hike today in the San Gorgonio Wilderness, on the Fish Creek Trail to a big meadow! It was totally awesome!

I am 9 months old!

I am 9 months old today!

This month was another exciting one:

I went on my first camping trip - for two nights even!

I cut three teeth (Mommy just noticed I also cut a top tooth!)

I figured out how to crawl on my hands and knees.

I started to oull myself up to stand (so Mommy and Daddy had to lower my crib).

I can take steps forward either while Mommy holds my hands, or while pushing a toy around.

I went to two story times at the Riverside Library.

I went to Karen and Seth's and got baby sat for the firs time on Mommy and Daddy's anniversary.

I started going to My Gym classes.

I discovered a strong love for balls and got a new ball pit.

We went to San Diego for Father's Day.

I am starting to get sad when Mommy leaves for work.

I still sleep about 10 hours a night and take 2-3 naps a day.

I am now eating broccoli, melon, gerber crunchy stars, apple sauce, mango, apricot, and had a few bites of turkey and chicken.

I go to my dotor's appointment on Monday, so I will have more info then regarding my heght and weight and stuff! :)

Playdate at Tracey's

Mommy and I went to see her friend, Tracey, today. She hosted a playdate and there were kids of all different ages, babies younger than me and 2 year olds! We played in a little kiddie pool, I do like splashing now! We also played inside for a little bit too and I discovered some great toys!

I have oatmeal for breakfast every morning. Today Mommy let me have the bowl and spoon and try to feed myself.

It was messy, but fun!

I got a new ball pit!! Daddy's' friend from work, China, gave this to me and I LOVE it!!! I also got a new chew toy that Mommy has heard a lot about, Sophie the Giraffe, she's from France! (and is expensive, so Mommy says I better love it!) :)

Happy Father's Day

We went to San Diego this weekend to celbrate Father's Day! Daddy and Uncle Jeff made stuffed hotdogs.

On Father's Day we went for a nice long walk on the beach! It was gorgeous!

And tonight I ate a whole bunch of yummy avacado, oh, and I imitated Mommy and Daddy for the first time (clicking my tongue). Oh, AND I splashed in the bathtub for the first time!

I want to say Happy Father's Day to my Daddy. He is my hero! I love him so much. He is so fun and takes good care of me. He changes my diapers and feeds me and hugs and kisses me lots. He plays with me and makes silly noises all the time. My daddy is always smiling and I know he loves me a lot. He is the best Daddy in the whole wide world!

And while I am at it, Happy Father's day to all the other Daddy's in my family - Papa, Grandpa Volkmann, Great Grandpa Volkmann, Pepere, Uncle Jeff, and Uncle Chris!

This week

I love My Gym! We spent 2 hours there today for class and then free play. I met another Noah too! He was 2 and 1/2 and I loved watching him when he was jumping on the trampoline! I also reeeally like balls, especially big ones, they are so fun to push and chase after!

Mommy and I met Seth and Karen at storytime again this week! It is so fun!

Happy Anniversary, Mommy and Daddy!!

Today was my Mommy and Daddy's first anniversary! They got married one year ago today in New Hampshire. I get to go to NH in a month, yipee!! So, Mommy and Daddy went to the Mission Inn Resaurant in Riverside while Karen and Seth babysat me! My very first babysitting experience... it was a little tough when it was time to go to bed, and I let Karen know I wasn't too happy Mommy and Daddy weren't around, for about 20 minutes. (I cried). But other than that I had lots of fun hanging out with Seth!

Daddy says I am like a little toy when I bounce around at the gate ... like one of those toys where you push up the bottom and makes the little animal dance. Whatever Daddy. :)

My Gym

I went to My Gym today for the first time! That place is coooool! My buddy Adam was there too! Mommy is going to sign me up for classes this summer. I am so excited! There are so many things to plan on and in and so many kids to watch!

Top Names in 2009

Turns out my parents weren't all that original in naming me! Noah was the 9th most popular name last year in the country. (Jacob was #1, Ethan #2, Michael, Alexander, William, Joshua, Daniel, Jayden, Noah, Anthony). Noah was number 19 in California though, number 12 in Washington, and number 11 in New Hampshire. I guess that's better than my grandparents! Christopher was number 3 in 1975 and Jennifer was number 1 in 1976!!

Mommy and I got to see Karen and Seth today in Riverside! I like Seth a lot! He is silly and makes funny noises! Karen's alright too ;) he he. :) We hung out and walked around Mission Inn, so pretty and lots of nice people who all seem to think I am pretty cute and smiley. I did get called a girl though. hmph.
