Visit with Dr. Clark today

Today Mommy and I went to see Dr. Clark for my one year checkup. I weigh 19.3.6 pounds (5th percentile still) and am 29 1/2 inches long. Dr. Clark also doesn't think I am allergic to Penicillin! And she suspects I didn't even have Strep Throat... interesting! She didn't seem to have a very high opinion of Urgent Care's care... hmmm. Regardless, I am all healthy now!!

She also siad it is time to stop with the bottle and drink whole milk and to bruch my teeth with a baby toothpaste twice a day and to eat everything Mommy and Daddy eat (except to be careful with nuts). I got some shots and boy did it hurt, but once Mommy picked me up and I could put my fingers in my mouth, I was okay. I see her again in 3 months.

Mommy and I went for a walk today too, and this walk didn't involve a stroller or baby carrier! That's right, I held Mommy's hand and walked all the way round our little block!!! It was so much fun! I even got ot step on a crunchy leaf, and I saw lots of dogs, and all sorts of cars and trees and flowers! It was fun to point at everything! I love walking!

Birthday Party #2 with all my baby friends!!!

Adam hosted our 7 babies birthday party today! It was AWESOME!!!

My Birthday Party

Finally! Here are pictures from my JUNGLE Birthday Party!! Mommy made a few games. This was one of them - everyone had to try to put these pictures of me in the corect order, they were all taken one month apart. No one got them all right! Mommy also had the Noah quiz, which Yia Yia won.

Mommy also made this game, Feed The Monkey! I LOVE this game and am really good at it! Auntie Karen!
All my friends got to make a craft. They made monkeys out of baby food jars. Here are JT and Lili working hard.

We also had a super cool pool for the party. I can't wait till I am big enough to play in it, it looks like so much fun! Here are Lil and my cousin Sydney playing!

Presents!!

I got so much cool stuff! This is my Jungle Buddies picutre that Auntie Karen made for me!

There were so many people there! Grandma flew in from Seattle fot the party, sadly Gruncle Dean wasn't able to come last minute. But Yia Yia and Papa were there, and my Auntie Summer and cousin Sydney. JT and Lili. Karen and Seth and Cameron. Michelle, Matt, Anna, Jillian and Kai. It was hot outside so we ended up not going to the park. Instead we had it at our house, which turned out great. I had lots of fun sharing all my toys and playing games and showing off my mad walking skills. It was super duper!

I want to thank everyone so very very much for coming! I know a lot of you traveled really far to be here with me and it means a lot to me and my family. We love you so very much and appreciate you lots! Thanks for all my awesome presents too!!

I AM ONE YEAR OLD!

I have been a year old for a week now, but boy have we been busy! Finally I can tell you all about the cool things I did this month and my new skills!

Now that I am a year old I can walk really, realy well! I very rarely crawl now. I can even almost run!

Right after I turned 11 months old I got a virus that gave me rashes, I had two ear infections, Strep Throat. Not to mention a runny noce and cough that lasted 3 weeks.

It is questionable that I may be allergic to penicillin.

I went to Sophia Ravanzo's third birthday party and got a balloon doggie, went in a jumper for the first time (didn't care for it all that much), made a bead neclace and got my first crayons.

I drew my first picture!

I started eating what Mommy and Daddy eat for dinner.

I went to the LA COunty Fair with Lili and JT and saw pig races and all sorts of animals, dinosaurs, and lots of lights and rides. It was awesome!

I got a new Britax carseat.

Mommy and I hosted a playdate at our house with lots of friends.

I started blowing kisses (I just imitate kissing my hand for now).

Grandma flew down for a visit.

AND I HAD THE BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER! I am ONE YEAR OLD!!!
