San Jacinto Tram and Snow Shoeing

We spent the long weekend with Yia Yia and Papa. First they came over to our house and watched Nascar and had lunch... and Yia Yia read some storeis to me!
Then we went to Palm Springs and stayed with them. We had fun there celebrating Yia Yia's birthday and went to the street fair. On Monday we went up San Jacinto Mountain on the tram! It took us 6000 feet up into the snow! Here is a water fall at the bottom of the mountain and a mountain goat.
This is the tram we rode! The floor rotates while you are in it so you can see all around!
I was a little worried at first!

But it turned out to be fun. Going from desert to this in a matter of minutes!

There the mountain station on top, at 8500 feet.
Mommy, Daddy and I went snow shoeing! I have never been snow shoeing before! They sure did bundle me up, though, as it was only 29 degrees!
And then I fell asleep, pretty much as soon as Daddy started walking! It was my nap time afterall!
Animal tracks! There were lots!
I woke up and we tried taking a family photo
But the sun was in my eyes!
This is Daddy pointing out the desert down below...Salton Sea is down there in fact!

This is the trail we took, Desert View. They had gotten 2 feet of fresh snow over the weekend!
Finally, I got to get out and play in the snow!
Not so sure what I think about that...

Would you like some snow?
There are the windmills you drive by on your way to Palm Springs!
I love my Mommy and Daddy!
Heading back down the mountain. There is the other tram heading up!

This was an awesome weekend! We all had so much fun! I can't wait to play in the snow again!

hair cut at home

Finally my parents did something about my terrible haircut from the salon. Daddy took his clippers and fixed it up and Mommy fixed my bangs with the scissors. Thanks guys! Let's hope you keep this up!

Happy Valentine's Day!

For Daddy, Mommy and I played a little game. She made all these hearts and wrote loving messages on them. Then she hid them around the room and I had to find them all and deliver them to Daddy! It was fun! I am soo good at finding stuff, too!

Yippe, I found another one!
Daddy!
Daddy was happy.
Then we put the hearts on string!
Valentine's Day photo shoot. Mommy made me a little heart pillow with my name on it.

Then we went out to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. I was bored. ;0)
Then, before my bath, I got to play with finger paints and Shaving Cream! Now That was FUN!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Playdate at Riverside Park

Corinna and Jake has us all over for a playdate. Here I am riding Jake's horsie!
Jake also has lots of cool cars!
He has the same train I do!
Hi Alex.
Jake and Alex playing music.
We also went to this awesome playground. There was a sand box and Jake brought his sand toys to share. It was actually a volleyball court, but no one was playing, so it was all ours!
I really liked scooping the sand!
Weeeee.
This is Sophia!
Hey Sophia, you wanna go play on the swings?
Adam got the big throne!
I got to sit on the bouncy teeter totter.
Slides are one of my favs though, Alex too!
Here is another fun slide.
Mommy, is it my turn now? Yipee!!
This park was great, can't wait to go back!
Oh, by the way, Grandma... I can say Uhoh now!!! Mommy thought you would want to know!

My First Craft Project

I did my first craft project today. I had yarn, buttons, pom poms, felt and raffia in an egg carton and contact paper to stick it all onto! It was fun to explore all the different things and put them anywhere I wanted. I especially liked the pom poms, they are mini balls!!
No, Mommy, I am not done yet.

This is fun!

When I was all done, Mommy put another piece of contact paper on top and then I coudl show it to Daddy without it all falling off!

We put it on the fridge! :)
Mommy's note: Noah has an incredibly long attention span, always has really. Janiel in day care also commented on this, as he will sit and listen to "school" and story time like a 2 1/2 year old! Tonight he also made me proud when he pretended a piece of his apple was a bus and made vroom vroom noises while pushing it around. Such a smartie! By the way, he is a jumping fool! I think he started trying to jump when he saw his cousin Sydney jump last weekend. Now he can jump an inch off the ground and gets such a kick out of it! I dont know

I wasnt really all that hungry, and kinda tired, but that did stop me from having fun with Alex doing one of my favorite things... playing with cars! (We also got to dance after eating and when the place was empty, that is always fun too!)
