Renaissance Faire

Today we went to the Renaissance Faire with Gruncle Dean, and Sameer and Cathy. It was fun. There were so many people in costume, like this guy:
I really enjoyed the Shakespeare show too, it was funny.
Rolling around in the grass...
and making new friends.
Horse acrobatics! So cool!!

Gruncle Dean had an awesome costume, too!

I like posing in these things!

Thursday and Friday

Yesterday Mommy and I went to Crossroads Park in Bellevue. It is a water splash area (that was designed to allow access for special needs kids, too!). This place was so cool! It had the water play area and a playground right next to it. I enjoyed going back and forth!

Today we went to Dr. Maze's Farm for Farm Tots time.
It was a sunflower celebration.

We got to pet some animals, like a goat.

We made this sunflower. :)
I pet a chicken too!
And ran through some mazes.
Then! We went on a hayride around the farm!
Those are some of the kids I know from the group.
Giddyup!
For lunch, Mommy and I explored anther park not too far from home. This one had a swing for special needs kids (see the blue one?)!

Tuesday and Wednesday

Today Mommy and I had an early afternoon swim here, Chism Beach in Bellevue. This is Lake Washington.
Before our swim we had lunch in this shady, pretty spot, with Seattle and the Olympic mountains in the background.
Before that we went on a hike around Larsen Lake
and saw this Blue Heron

Why were we at Larsen Lake? TO pick blueberries of course, with our new Meetup friends.

I ate a LOT of blueberries!!

Yesterday we went to another free outdoor concert at Kirkland's Marina Park, Eric Ode. He was fun. I knew some of the songs he sang, like Wheels on the Bus, 5 Little Monkeys...
And two nights ago I made an art project with some nature we found on our hike on Sunday.
... and played with toilet paper :)

Talapus Lake hike

Mommy and I went on our first hike today. Meri and her dog Tibby joined us on the 4 mile hike in the mossy forest to Talapus Lake.

I really like hiking! Climbing up and over stuff, jumping off stuff... it is super fun!

We had lunch by the lake.

The 4 miles and a leisurely lunch took us about 3 hours total. We had a great time! :)
