Due Date

My baby sister was due today, but she didn't come yet.  So, Mommy and I talked to her and told her we want her to come out now.  We want to meet her!  I got to really see her move and feel it today, too!

In other news, I used zoo sticks for the first time today to eat my dinner.  Daddy was using chop sticks and I wanted to try, so Mommy got me little kid chopsticks to try.  They are FUN!

Folklife and stuff

Here I am last weekend at Juanita Beach Park:

After playing in the sand and water, I got all yucky, so I took an outside shower and put on some new clothes:

We went to Folklife last weekend, for 2 days!  It was a Blast.  I loved the bongos.

We went again on Monday because someone super great was there...

Play Time

This past Monday we had a playdate at Waverly Beach Park.

Sophie and I played some golf...

Yesterday we went to the Street Fair in the University District.  It was really fun. I go to play with these puzzles.

And because I was such a good boy all day, I got to pick out a new toy.  I got a penguin.  I also picked one out for my baby sister, a purple lady bug!

Grandma was with me and Mommy.  I had fun up on her shoulders!

 We went out to eat at a place called Santa Fe and had mexican.  Daddy's favorite.

Even though Daddy was super full and didn't want dessert, we made sure he got to make a wish on a candle when we got home ... and had our Boston Cream Pie the next day!

Daddy got a new helicopter (his other one broke) and he is going to get a fish tank, but we are still researching for that.

Happy Mother's Day

I made this flower picture the other day with Mommy.

 And I made this flower picture at daycare FOR Mommy for Mother's Day!  

Today we went to Juanita Park to have a picnic BBQ for Mother's Day.  I got to run around and play with Mommy and Grandma and Daddy grilled salmon and burgers for us.  Yummm!

potty trained, the dentist and rhyming

Yup, I am officially 100% potty trained. That was easy, not sure what the big deal was.  But I went poo poo in the potty at day care this week and poo poo on the big toilet at home today!  No problem!  My friends at day care are going poo poo on the potty too and we get Popsicles when we do!  Yay!  :)

I went to the dentist this past week and things look good, although the dentist did tell me not to suck my fingers in bed ... i stopped during the day, but nap time and bedtime I still do.  She said my jaw is getting narrow, my top teeth.  But she said if I stop sucking on my fingers my jaw and teeth will go back to normal on their own!  Still, it's super hard to stop!  I got a new toothbrush and I like it, it has a lion on it.  I also got a neat sticker and a little toy train as a prize.  In fact, Dr. Aimee said I can get TWO prizes next time if I stop sucking my fingers!

I like to rhyme a lot now!  It's fun to say pretend words that sound alike!!  Especially "focky bocky".  I like to add the B sound to the front of words, too... but then Mommy and Daddy say they don't understand what I am saying.  My friends at day care think its hysterical, just like me!

Day at the Park

Mommy and I went to two parks today, Castle Park and 132nd Park.  Castle Park didn't have a bathroom, so we had to leave because both Mommy and I had to pee.  132nd Park was the best.  I got to spin around and around on a fun spinny toy and I played on a fun swing and played ball, soccer, golf and frisbee!  And... I wore my hat all day!  But, we forgot sunblock on my ears, so they are a little red, but they don't hurt!  I like the park a lot.

I did it again

Yup!  Just went poo poos in the potty again and this time I wasn't nervous about it at all!  Just sat down and went!  And... I got another new car!  Weehoo!

I did it!

I did it!  I did it!  I did it!  I went poo poo in the potty!!!  Oh, I was really nervous about it, but Mommy and I waited in the bathroom together until I was ready.  I thought it was a good idea to jump up and down a lot beforehand, but suddenly it was time and I sat down.  I was so proud.  I couldn't wait to tell Gabrielle, my day care provided.  I knew she would be really proud!  Mommy gave me a new car like she promised and I kept my big boy pants all clean!  Hooray!  Daddy was really proud too and he wanted to take a picture, so he did, but you can see my pee pee, so I am not going to put it on here.  I also wanted to take a picture of my poo poo, so I did, but Mommy thinks you probably don't want to see that one either.  Oh well.

We did however take these pictures tonight that we Can share.  Mommy is 34 weeks pregnant!

Sibling Class

I forget to tell you about the class I went to on Saturday... a Sibling Class.  I met some other little kids who are going to be big brothers and sisters like me.  We got to sit in a circle and share about our babies.  Sometimes, when I didn't know the right answer, I still shared, like when I told the teacher I had pancakes fro breakfast when she was asking how our family was preparing for baby.  I liked sharing, it was fun to tell the teacher and the other kids about my baby.  We watched a silly video and held baby dolls... I learned that even though it might be okay to poke at the doll's eyes, it won't be okay to poke at my little sisters eyes when she gets here.  We also got to decorate a bib for our babies, I had mommy draw a car and a flower and I put my hand print and then I colored all over it.  It's really pretty!  I bet she's going to love it!  After that we went on a tour of the maternity floor in the hospital and I saw where Mommy is going to have her baby... and then we played in the play area!  I got a button and a certificate, too, because I am going to be a big brother!!  I am so excited.  I like to give our baby hugs and kisses, I can't wait to meet her!
