Palm Springs

We went to Palm Springs this weekend to visit Yia Yia and Papa! We stayed at a different time share again, it was really nice! Yia Yia got me a new toy, Noah's Ark!

The room was great for me to practice standing! I got so much better in just a few days, from standing for 5 seconds to standing for 45 seconds all on my own!

This morning we also got to go swimming! We took underwater pictures with our new fancy camera!

home again

It is nice to be home again. We am settling back into our old routines and getting lots of sleep and eating more. Traveling can be stressful! But FUN! Mommy and I have been cleaning a lot, as our house we are renting is for sale now and we can have buyers come any day to see the place! I wonder when and if we are going to move! I hope we move to Seattle soon!! This week Mommy has also been calling around to find me a new day care. Kim isn't able to take me back (we think she is closing her day care now that her daughter is in preschool) :(. We have some dates next week to meet some people! I am really nervous! I don't like leaving Mommy's side these days... all that traveling tuckered me out and now I just want to be by Mommy ALL the time! I am feeling a little better about it though. Mommy has jury duty on Monday and I get to spend the day with Karen and Seth. I hope I don't miss my mommy too much!

Daddy rearranged the house while Mommy and I were away. I can climb on the bookshelf now! Look at me, I am pointing! I really like that DOG book!! It has movable parts, like wagging tail and different textures! Plus it is about dogs, and I love dogs! I hope I an have a dog someday!

You may be wondering if I know how to get down from here safely... yup I do! You don't have to worry about me, I know what I am doing!

Today Mommy took me to a play date and I met Liz and Baby Ella! Mommy Daddy cleaned and put together my play structure today! Lili handed this down to me a long time ago and I finally am getting big enough to start using it!

Bubbles in my hair! I gift from Liz, these bubbles are amazing! This looks yummy! I can't seem to get it open though!

I am really making these photo shoots difficult for my mom, I just don't like to sit still anymore!! Me and Grover are being silly and rolling around here:

I can now:

`Wave hello and good bye (I got really good at this while visiting my family in New Hampshire!)
`Receive a Hi 5 (I will hold up my hand to get a Hi 5 and am starting to give a Hi 5 too, but can't quite get the whole slapping thing down)
`Clap and kinda learned how to "roll" my hands for pattycake. I love clapping!
`Walk around furniture while holding on.
`I like to roll balls across the room and love to empty the ball pit
`Stand on my own for 5 seconds
`I understand "No", but choose to ignore it sometimes!
`I make all sorts of sounds, Ba is still my favorite, but I also say Mama (still not totally discriminately), Dada, Na, Ga, and other weird sounds too.
`Pick up small things with my thumb and index finger.
(And just a week later, I can point!)

`My hair is long and curly!
`I love to dance (bounce up and down and wave my arms) whenever I hear music!!
`I like to play Peek A Boo.
`I tried eating with a spoon = messy!
`I have 7 teeth
`I sleep about 9 -10 hours a night, with alittle hiccup in that for a few days when Mommy took the bumper out of my crib. When she put it back, I went back to sleeping through the night!

Things I did this month:
`Fish Creek Hike
`Celebrated Mommy's 34th birthday
`I saw my first parade, the 4th of July Parade in Redlands. I loved it!
`I met Sara, Mommy's friend from PTN where she had her first job as an OT
`I had my last My Gym class
`I flew all the way across the country and did a great job! Mommy and Daddy even got compliments that I was such a good baby! I went to Cape Cod and Vermont and of course New Hampshire!

Mommy's friends

Mommy and I got to visit with lots of Mommy's friends throughout our trip!

This is Steph, my birthday buddy! She and Mommy went to college together. We were both born on Sept 26th! I have been so excited to meet her, as I have heard a lot about how wonderful she is! It's all true. She can even make pot holders talk to me! We also watched a video from when they were roommates... boy were they silly!

We drove to Rye to visit with Amy, my mommy's friend from high school. They met in music and went to college together too, and were ven roommates. They hadn't seen each other in 12 yeasrs! We went to Portsmouth and Prospect Park.

We took a break so I could play on the swings! Weeeeee.

Hi 5!!

Oh how I do love Steph's bosom.

We also drove to Massachusetts to see more people! These are my mommy's friends from college, Jackie and Rich. They were all in OT school together. Jackie and Mommy were roommates in college too! Jackie and Rich have two kids, this is Katie, she is 2...and this is Maddie, she is 6 years old!

One night we went to Goffstown to see two more of Mommy's friends, from high school, actually even before high school! This is Ellen, and her baby, Isaac. Isaac is 5 months old.

This is Shelly. She is my mommy's good friend from high school, too.
This is Dave. He is also Mommy's friend from high school. He was super nice and drove up to Memere's to pick us up and bring us into Boston. The enxt day we got to hang out at the arboretum near Uncle Tim's... then we flew home.
Our flight home was crazy! We had no problems with our flight out of Boston, and was even through security in half an hour, but we had to wait forever in Dallas, first for the crew to show up, then for a new plane.

By the time we took off, I was exhausted. I had something to eat and fell right asleep!

Memere and Pepere's

Mommy, Daddy and I stayed at Memere and Pepere's house while we were on vacation. It was the best place to stay because we got to spend tons of time with Memere, Pepere and Mem! They are pretty awesome... Memere and Pepere are my great grandparents, and Mem is my great, great grandmother!! During my second week, my Grandma was staying there too, which means we had FIVE generations sleeping under one roof!

Thank you so very very much, Memere and Pepere for letting us stay with you! We had so much fun and love you very, very much!!!! You are the best!!!
