Playing with Daddy

Daddy and I are playing playing blocks together. Usually I like to put the blocks away (the lid has shapes cut out that the blocks fit into) rather than actually build with them (clean up is soo fun!), but when Daddy is there, building is FUN!

Check out this tower! I built it all by myself! I am soo good!

Sometimes Daddy reads to me too! This is Grover's underwater adventure!

New Haircut

Mommy finally decided my hair was too long and we went to The Rose of Sharon Salon, where she gets her hair cut, and saw Brittney. This is my before:

Mommy says Brittney actually didnt do a very good job as my bangs are crooked (she moved them around so you can't tell) and the back is too long. At least it looks better than before though :)

16 months old words

This month has been super exciting! I can officially now say I TALK! In this month (middle to end) I really started imitating Mommy and now I can imitate lots of words, and will say some of them on my own too!

Here's my list:
Ball (Ba, with a slight ending sound)
Bubbles (Baba) - I will request these

Papa
Yaya
Memere
Pepere (Papa)
Bus (Ba)
Blue (Boo - kinda)
Kitty Cat (ge ge ge)

I also say Ga (or some kind of sound anyway) when Mommy says "123 ___". I fill in the blank.
I still dont get how to say things like Grandma, Hi, I love you...

Amy's house

Today we went to Amy's house. It was partly her house warming party and to celebrate Isaac's birthday... and mine a little bit too.

I got to play air hockey with Amy!

Then there was cake!

I needed help to blow out the candles.

Daddy's coworkers (Dan and his wife Sarah, Isaac, Amy and Brandy)

Amy gave me my very own map book! Thank you Amy!!

I skipped my afternoon nap to go to the party... I rested here briefly.

I got to finger paint for the first time today! It was so much fun!!

Victoria Gardens

Daddy went camping this weekend so Mommy and I went out to brunch! We went to the Cheesecake Factory at Victoria Gardens with lots of friends.

a cold afternoon at Ford Park with Alex

Alex and I went to Ford Park again to play ball and see the duckies. I wore my frog hat and Alex had on his bear hat. We were the cutest kids there!

PS, thanks Santa for my new blocks, it is fun to build with them, but also fun to put them away!

Ford Park Playdate
