One Month Old!

And then I sleep!

For my one month birthday, Tim and Mom took me to Big Bear! THey rode the alpine slide! I can't wait to be big enough to do that, it looks like loads of fun!

After that we went on a hike! The Park Ranger office closed at 4:30, right when we arrived, and they sent us to the nearby campground to get an Adventure Pass instead, but their kiosk was closed! Luckily the nice host, Sharon, let us park in their parking lot and told us about a trail by the lake! So off we went! The trail was narrow and bumpy, but I didn't mind... I like bumpy!!

All the trees were big and pretty!

But it was a bit chilly, so I got all bundled up! Mom was worried that my hat wasn't warm enough, so she even put a blanket on my head!

We also walked along the water for a while! That was nice!

Overall, it was a great one month birthday!

So in one month I have grown out of lots of clothes already! I was 18 1/2 inches long when I was born and 22 1/2 inches when I was 2 weeks old. I weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces when I was born and at 2 weeks I weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces.

Some things I am proud and loved this month:

I can lift my head and turn it side to side and look around when I am laying on my tummy!

I can start to focus on my Mommy and Daddy's face!!

I found my thumb and love to suck on it from time to time! If my thumb isn't available I still like to try to eat my hands.

Mommy gave my a pacifier and I Looooove it!

I am losing my baby hair (and look like a little old man, so my mommy says).

I am starting to roll over onto my side (well, I did it once anyway!).

I am awake more often during the day and like to look around and dance and go for walks and swing!

I am getting massages and do Yoga with Mommy!
