Mommy and I went to Jenks Lake today, about 45 mins away and in the mountains near San Gorgonio. It was nice!
We walked around the lake, met some summer campers and counselors, put our feet in the water, danced, checked out the trees, and talked to some families. It cost $5 to hang out there and lots of people go to fish. There used to be a place for swimming, but not anymore, though people will anyway! The man who works there said they told him there is a No Swimming sign because of bacteria in the water, but that he thinks the real reason is because they don't have a life guard.Tomorrow Mommy goes back to work, which means I go to day care. I met me new daycare lady, Janeil, last Friday. She was nice. I think it will be fun, and I get to make new friends!
