I miss blogging, so Mommy and I decided I could blog on my own page again :) Yipee!! I am going to try to catch up from where I left off in January, but in the meantime I will also keep current and so... I am going to recap my week for you. :)
Today, I went to Northwest Aerials for my Wiggle Worms class. I have been three times now and I love it there. My favorite part is the big long trampoline. This was the first class I felt comfortable going to my teacher to tell her about the stuff I practiced, like jumping and spinning, jumping and opening and closing my legs... I am also really good at somersaults now! I like to hang from the rings and walk on the balance beam (although I am afraid to cross it without holding Mommy's hand still). All in all, my favorite part is jumping. Lots of jumping as high as I can!
Yesterday we went to OO Denny Park and kicked around a soccer ball for a bit and threw a frisbee, too. I really love soccer and Frisbee (even though Mommy says I through leftie, even though I am a rightie). I am getting good at kicking the soccer ball back to mommy while it is still moving, too, and love to try to kick the ball between Mommy's legs and have her do the same. After the park we went out to eat at Plaza Garcia (Daddy was a Matt's house) and I had a cheese and chicken quesadilla. I like to say "Quesadilla". It's a fun word! I got to sit on a booster seat, too, which means I am a big boy. One of my favorite parts at the restaurant? Getting to push down the little bubble bumps on the lid to my cup! I love those.
Also, I at day care I told Gabrielle when I had to go pee pee. Mommy was so proud of me she created a new sticker chart. Now I get to earn stickers for not sucking my fingers and for going pee pee on the potty (and for not swallowing my toothpaste... I really like to swallow my toothpaste but Mommy says I can't. She's pretty adamant about it, too. I keep forgetting!) So after 20 stickers I get a new car! AND if I go poo poo on the potty, I get a new car right away! I LOVE CARS!
On Sunday I started off my day at my first race ever!! I was really excited to stand with all the other kids at the starting line, but when they did the count down and all the kids took off running, I wasn't sure what to think! So I cried for a second but then Grandma was there and told me to chase her, so I did! We ran the 1/4 mile together. I didn't even cut corners like the other kids my age, I ran the whole way (with Grandma). At the finish line, there were so many people cheering for me (I was the last one done) but they kinda scared me... so I stopped running. But then someone came over and gave me a Sticker and told me a did a good job! I was proud! Mommy and Grandma were proud too, at least that's what the kept saying over and over again. After my race was all done, the big people started their race. I wanted a turn to run through their starting line after they were all gone and then we went to a spot on the route to cheer on the runners. We clapped for them and told them "Good Job". There were lots of people running. Some of them even dressed up like pirates. And I made some of them run, or clap like me and one girl even tried to give me a High 5! That was fun!
